Your Weekly Agenda Will Include:

• 6 hours theory lessons that incorporate all aspects of teaching to be able to connect with every student on their own personal level.
• 8 hours advanced education classes (business, nails, esthetics, make-up, etc.)
• 22 hours hands-on training in every aspect of Cosmetology.
• Scheduled 15 minute breaks.
• Scheduled 45 minute lunch.

• Decontamination, Infection Control, and Salon Safety
• Scalp and Hair Treatments
• Hairstyling (wet and thermal)
• Thermal Hair Straightening
• First Aid
• Product Knowledge, use and safety
• Chemistry for Cosmetology
• Electricity for Cosmetology
• Braiding
• Esthetics
• Professional Image
• Bacteriology, Sanitation and Sterilization, Safety, Disease and Disorders
• Draping, Shampooing, Conditioning and Rinsing
• Haircutting (scissors, razor, clipper)
• Permanent Waving
• Chemical Hair Relaxing
• Wigs and Hair Extensions
• Anatomy and Physiology
• Licensing Laws and Rules
• Professional Ethics and Salon Management
• Ear Piercing
• Elective Topics

Plus:

ImageWorks' Nail Technology Course (a $3200 value + kit) and Advanced Make-Up Course (a $2800 value + kit) are INCLUDED in the Cosmetics Course at no additional charge.

Length of Course:

Approximately 2000 clock hours (Utah State Requirement)

Available Schedules:

Full Time:

Monday - Thursday (8:15 - 7:00) & Saturday (9:15 - 3:00) - 40 hours per week.

Part Time:

Two full weekdays (8:15 - 5:00) & Saturday (9:15 - 3:00) - 24 hours per week.

Part Time Evening Classes:

Tuesday - Thursday (5:30 - 9:30) & Saturday (9:15 - 3:00) - 20 hours per week.

Dress:

Professional dress, black on black. No jeans, sweats or tank tops.

Brush-up classes given at $150 per day or $500 per week upon Acceptance. Additional scholarships may apply.

All graduate of ImageWorks are welcome to attend classes held for no charge at any given time.
